Peter Kendall
Managing Director
Peter began his career 18 years ago as an apprentice diesel fitter, before moving into the Mining Industry and working up through management positions both nationally and internationally. In the past 10 years he has worked throughout Asia for various mining companies and heavy equipment manufacturers. Peter most recently worked for the Indonesian Caterpillar dealer Trakindo, in the capacity of Operations Superintendent at Batu Hijau: a vast copper mine on Sumbawa island, owned by Newmont Mining. Following this, Peter returned home to Australia, assuming the role of Managing Director of CMC.
Peter's exposure to a range of different cultures, Maintenance And Repair Cost (MARC) contracts, experience in large-scale human resource and commercial management, combined with his personal philosophy that nothing is impossible,” allows CMC to expand into areas previously untouched.
David Ahern B.Eng (Civil) M.I.E.A.
Construction Director
David is a qualified civil engineer with over 10 years' expertise, both nationally and internationally. He has a wealth of experience in project management and in all areas of civil construction, specializing in large- scale road and bridge construction. David has been involved in many outstanding projects including the Brisbane Inner City Bypass, the Port of Brisbane Motorway, and the Port of Brisbane Sea Wall. He is also well versed in all facets of partnership alliances, joint ventures, W.H.&S., modern estimating, and operating systems.
David's extensive amount of involvement in large-scale alliances and joint ventures gives CMC the capacity to move to the next level of Principle Contracting.
