Waterford-Tamborine Road Upgrade

Located just outside of Tamborine Village approximately 60 kilometres South of Brisbane, the Waterford-Tamborine Road is an existing narrow road which links Logan Village to Tamborine.  The upgrade project will provide significant benefits to motorists and the community by providing speed consistency, flood immunity, reduced travel times, and improved safety and driveability.

Set for completion by early 2010, the upgrade project requires the 2.5 kilometre realignment and full construction of the two lane road including bridges over Albert River and Clutha Creek, with the capacity for a future upgrade to four lanes.
