This dual capability permits CMC to self perform a larger scope of works, with only specialist disciplines being subcontracted. This ultimately delivers cost savings, as it simplifies the management of a project, reduces the margin-on-margin effect from subcontracting the entire works, eliminates the risks associated with having separate contractors working together in a limited area, and enables a greater direct control on quality, safety and the finished product.
