The Gore Highway Project team came together for a Safety Leadership Brekky BBQ to celebrate some outstanding Safety Leaders.
Di Lynch was recognised for setting daily safety standards for herself and fellow workers. She has a keen eye, assesses all situations, and ensures that both the working area and activity is safe. Di makes sure that all work fronts have all the documents and permits required to complete the day and follows up to make sure everyone is signed on to the task.
Garth Tilcock was celebrated today for his attention to safety, helping coordinate plant vs people communications, which in turn helps all vehicles including trucks and testers move throughout the site in a safe and efficient manner. Garth also makes sure that any exclusions zones are clearly set up and monitors them throughout the day.
